 About the role  of IT System Administrator and business

We are currently seeking an experienced ,energetic, innovative and team-oriented IT System Administrator .  To drive the implementation and facilitation of The One International  College  IT System to meet the regulatory requirements. 

IT System Administrator  is responsible for development and implementation of a cost effective and useful IT System solutions to meet the business requirements of The One International College and to plan and conduct regular system tests to ensure quality and integrity of the college’s information, communication and technology network and systems. The duties and responsibilities are explained below.

 

IT System Administrator Job Description

Develop and implement ICT systems that meet the college’s operations and strategic objectives according to the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) standards . Projects may include Learning Management System (Moodle based), ICT Laboratory and server facilities for ICT courses, software requirements for all courses, and ICT solutions for staff and trainers.  

Plan and conduct regular system tests to ensure quality and integrity of the college’s information, communication and technology network and systems.

Provide up-to-date information and employ technical strategies relating to the organisation’s plans, objectives and directions.

Develop relevant regulatory documentation for the RTO’s ICT security policies and standards.

Create a system to accurately record/backup core data.

Collaborate with third party specialists and developers to optimise applied systems. These may include Certified Moodle Partners for the RTO’s learning management system (LMS), Microsoft for Education,  backup solutions, among others.

Maintain, plan, and possibly develop, and design a website for the college.

Supervise planning of resources for projects like ICT laboratories, e-library, and server & network facilities.

Liaise regularly with staff members, trainers, and students to determine best practices and guidelines for system functionality

Facilitate in the production and delivery of electronic publication and communication such as marketing flyers, social media platforms, web pages and eNewsletters

Provide desktop user support for The One International College Moodle Learning Management System

Maintain existing website (www.theoneintlcollege.edu.au) ensuring content is up-to-date and obsolete content removed.

Assist staff in the use and maintenance of ICT systems.

Provide onsite and remote IT support as required by staff and students

Perform duties within the System Administrator’s competence, as specified by the Operations Manager.

In consultation with the Quality & Compliance Officer, delivered audits collecting quality and compliance evidence for IT courses.

Institute protocols for the use of IT across departments and projects

Provided advice on the most suitable IT choices

Provide technical support or training for all ICT systems and networks

Act as link between end users and higher level support

Install and configure software and hardware (printers, network peripherals etc.)

Monitor system and network performance

Maintained licenses and upgrade schedules

 Skills and experience

Demonstrated experience in efficient and effective IT System establishment and  Management

Relevant Tertiary qualification and experience in IT System Administrator

Ability to communicate effectively with students, colleagues and the trainers and other stakeholders, orally and in writing; Demonstrated personal qualities of leadership, innovation and motivation.

We are currently seeking an experienced ,energetic, innovative, experienced and team-oriented Records Manager.  To drive the implementation and facilitation of The One International  College  record management system to meet the regulatory requirements for recordkeeping and to maintain the effective delivery of records management (physical and digital). The Records Manager must ensure work procedures and practices include provision for the generation, capture and retention of a full and accurate set of records and regularly review these to ensure ongoing compliance and efficiency is maintained

Records Manager Job Descriptions

Manage the Records Management System student and Assessment files in the RTO CRICOS Environment

Review, develop and implement improvements to Records Management practices, policies and procedures.

Maintain compliance with Standards for NVR Registers Training Organizations of 17.4 – Records Management and with other applicable SNR Standards.

Efficient and effective Records Management, record-keeping and maintaining compliance applied across the RTO.

Continuous improvement in the operational practices associated with documents and records management

Reporting any shortfalls and discrepancies of the Records Management System to the RTO Manager

Maintaining student records and correspondence via electronic and hardcopy copy filling systems

Create, maintain and archive records of hardcopy of student and assessment files

Verifying and maintaining records of Enrolled students into Student Management System ensuring all details are correct.

Recording students engagement in a unit from attendance rolls

Run regular reports from Student Management System and distribute to all internal stakeholders to assist with student monitoring.

Analyse  assessment outcomes in the Student Management System and maintain records.

Assisting in the preparation and dispatching of certificates

Maintain and update records of student details on Student Database Management Systems

Maintain and update records of timetables and classroom allocations of Students

Assisting staff, trainers in all student files and assessment in updating and tracking of students with Academic and Intervention issues. Information

Reporting to the RTO Manager as well as Governance, Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager, Student Services Officer

Developing record cataloguing, coding and classification systems, and monitoring their use

Managing organisations' central records systems

Maintaining computerised and other record management systems and record forms, and advising on their usage

Controlling access to confidential information, and recommending codes of practice and procedures for accessing records

Skills and experience

Demonstrated experience in efficient and effective Records Management, record-keeping and maintaining compliance applied across the RTO and manage the records management systems student and assessment files in the RTO CRICOS Environment

Relevant Tertiary qualification and experience  in Records Management

Experience of efficiently administrating academic records management;

Ability to communicate effectively with students, colleagues and the trainers and other stakeholders, orally and in writing; Demonstrated personal qualities of leadership, innovation and motivation. Records Manager Salary $140,000 - $149,999 and IT System Administrator Salary $70,000-83,000
