This includes but is not limited to graphite purification, graphene exfoliation, graphite expansion, electrolyte production, and a variety of other products and processes related to energy storage and composite materials.
Participate, upon request, in general business development, presentations, grant proposal writing due to experience and knowledge. Develop new uses for materials. Evaluate machinery as well as developing machinery and processes to manufacture materials for use in carbon and graphite for use in products that must meet specialized design and performance specification taking into consideration capabilities and limitations of equipment, machinery and material.
Utilizing Thermal analysis system, powder resistivity measurement system, optical microscope, thermal conductivity measurement, SciLab Double Length Glovebox, Metrohm Autolab PGSTAT, High Precision Coulometric Efficiency measurements, Battery Cycler, CEM Microwave Reactors, IGA by Hiden (Intelligent Gravimetric Analyze), Tap Density Analyzer, TOB roller, Gilson Sonic Sieve, TQC Vacuum Table, Thermo Scientific CL31R Centrifuge, MTI Equipment, and Planetary Ball Mill for graphite milling amongst other equipment used for graphite in expansion and energy storage technologies.
