Areas of Responsibility:

Develop & conduct training programs in Spanish for employees involved in sales of clothing, novelties, and leather imports wholesale to Hispanic merchants. Confer with management to gain knowledge of work situation requiring training for employees to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, and technologies. Formulate teaching outline and determine instructional methods, utilizing knowledge of work situation requiring training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings and workshops. Develop teaching aids such as multimedia visual aids and reference aids. Conduct training sessions covering specified areas such as those concerned with new employee orientation on-the-job training, use sales techniques, public relations, refresher training, promotional development, upgrading, retraining displaced workers and leadership development. Test trainee to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training. 40 hrs./wk. 4 yrs. exp. required.
