Lead and participate in the programming of menus in the DVD using graphic interface to program events when the user utilizes the remote control of his/her DVD Player by cueing programs; such as programming on determining the chapters that the movie contains, choose a chapter to be reproduced, forwarding to the next chapter, regress to the prior chapter, return to the main menu, select the desired language, select the sub-titles the user wishes to view the movie in. Programming of the trivia that is included in some of the projects. Go directly to a chapter that appears in a menu. Capturing of the movies in analogue format to create the video files in digital format. Video coding in the format that will be recognized by AUTHOR software. Trans-codify the audio in the format recognized by AUTHOR software. Authoring software permits the programmer to use a variety of commands that are different levels from the Standard DVD. The programmer is able to define, which selection on the screen will be highlighted or the action to be taken when the user selects a certain button. Create Stamper (Master) disks which are used to generate mass production for distribution. Ensure company standards and quality are met in the entire creation process of Master DVD's by inspecting finished product for defects. Ensure security tapes are generated after each project. Track project and record to keep management informed of production. 40 hrs/wk. Bachelor's in Computer Science + 2 yrs exp.
