Immediate opening. Seeking experienced professional for 300-room property in Syracuse, NY. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years experience as a General Manager of full-service hotels. Must be adept at Word, Excel and PMS. A degree in business or a related field is desirable.

The property is 289 room and full service with a national brand, just fully renovated as a 4 star property with full food and beverage and a new state of the art conference center.

This position requires an energetic, ambitious leader with a passion for the business, who leads by example, and is prepared to jump in and support his/her staff at any time. General managers wear many hats. Duties include operations management, yield management, accounting, reports, hiring, training, resolution of customer complaints, etc.

Success depends on ability: to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; to lead others and create high levels of teamwork; to stay organized in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities; to connect with associates and customer to create and build loyalty.
