Areas of Responsibility:

IT Network Engineer. Manage, maintain, design, modify, install or troubleshoot computer systems and networks overall operations and needs. Analyze, design, test, evaluate, install, configure, and support network systems such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), TCP/IP networks and Network LAN-WAN deployment, including IP Addressing, routing and troubleshooting as well as internet, intranet and other data communications systems. Perform network modeling, analysis and planning. Research, maintain and recommend network and data communications hardware and software as well as telecommunications specialist (such as: modems, routers, servers, switches, etc.) who deal with the interfacing of computer and communications equipment. Supervise computer programmers, network support and client server specialist. Plan, coordinate and implement network security measures for information systems to regulate access to computer data files and prevent unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure of information utilizing experience in the field of Information technology including Network Design/Security/Architecture/Implementation/Support and Troubleshooting. 40 HRS/WK, Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering + 7 yrs. exp in job offered or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering + 2 yrs. exp. Suitable combination of education, training or experience acceptable.
