Successful metals fabrication company is currently seeking qualified professional for Manufacturing Engineer. The Manufacturing Engineer will work across departments to ensure new products are completed on time with maximum yield, while continuously improving existing parts. The position will work closely with Production and Production Management in developing and implementing new processes and production methods. Some essential responsibilities are: Evaluate new and existing processes to ensure quality and safety of the job as well as meeting quoted standards with production efficiency. Define standards for new products and ensure the proper documentation and quality is in place. Assist the technical group in the quoting and project planning stage. Participate in all major project reviewing, initial process design, prototyping, pre-production and post production. Provide guidance for tooling and fixture development insuring that all special equipment is in place for manufacturing start-up. Participate and formally document results of prototype production and first article production builds. Qualified candidate should possess an Engineering degree with a minimum of 3 years manufacturing process engineering experience. Prefer with metal fabrication processes and project management as well as lean manufacturing. We offer an excellent benefits package and a competitive compensation package.
