Senior Programmer Analyst. Plan & organize tasks within the team to accomplish objectives utilizing theoretical & practical application of acquired highly specialized knowledge in programming & systems analysis. Create & test application interfaces to all systems utilizing middle ware-Webmethods. Will lead computer analyst programmers who perform the following duties: design, enhance, integrate, create & implement new applications & systems; utilize knowledge of computer programming techniques & computer languages including Webmethods in AS/400, WINDOWS & MAINFRAME environment. Describe logical operations involved by preparing flowcharts & diagrams to illustrate sequence of steps program must follow; run & test programs to detect syntax &/or logic errors and modify codes; analyze, review & alter program to increase operating efficiency; describe installation & operating procedures by writing manual; locate source of problem & rewrite program to correct errors; provide technical assistance to program users; train in use of program; oversee installation of hardware & software; confer with user contacts & Application Manager to negotiate task priorities & provide on-going communication & project status reporting. 40 hrs/wk Bachelor’s in Computer Science/Applications or Electronics. 2 yrs. exp. in job offered or 2 yrs. exp. = 1 yr. Programmer Analyst + 1 yr. Software Engineer.
