Design and modify audio/video/film electronic equipment following blueprints & manufacturer specifications. In charge of technical process in post-production of movies in the Spanish language. Troubleshoot and analyze problems to prevent breakdown of equipment. Test equipment and apply knowledge of the functional operations of audio/video/film systems. Program templates for the making of the DVD's. Installation and maintenance of machinery and equipment. Edit dialogues, music and sound effects for motion picture soundtracks, film and video. Training and technical support for editors and graphic artists. Design and maintenance of software to convert formats of subtitles of PC for the Sonic Solitions Macintosh (in Visual Basic language); Develop software for the integration of elements between movie and video; Design and install movie audio equipment as well as technical support and maintenance; Responsible for 5.1 surround sound formatting by designing the restoration and conversation process of the classical movie sound for certification by DOLBY laboratories. Calibrate, operate and repair electronic measuring and recording instruments, apparatus and equipment. Oversee engineering technicians. Bachelor (or equiv. of education & exp. combination) Electronics & communications engineering + 1 yr. exp. in job offered.
