Areas of Responsibility:

Teach 5th grade students Math, Language Arts (English), Social Studies, Science, Art, Music, Drama, Jewish Culture & Heritage and MRE (Moral Religious Education): Will: Prepare outline for course of study; Lecture and use audiovisual teaching aids; prepare and assign lessons; assign homework; administer, grade and record results; teach rules of conduct; prepare and instruct children in Jewish studies relating to the tradition and to the Bible utilizing knowledge & experience in MRE; teach chapters from the Bible stressing on the correlation between the Bible, the Hebrew language and the Jewish tradition; test at various levels; counsel pupils when adjustment and study problems arise; confer with student and/or parents on problems the student may have in a specific subject and/or academic progress and/or behavior. The remaining time is preparation and/or supervision of students. Bachelor's degree in Education or equivalent combination of studies. 4 yrs. exp in job offered. 40 hrs./wk.
