The Squam Lakes Natural Science Center seeks an individual to fill the full time position of Lake Education Coordinator. The successful candidate for the Lake Education Coordinator position will have a degree (Bachelor acceptable, Masters preferred) in limnology or aquatic biology, ideally a minimum of five years teaching experience in either an informal or formal educational setting (or both), proven leadership and managerial skills and some practical experience operating boats. Compensation will be commensurate with knowledge and experience, and includes a full benefits package. Responsibilities will include the following: · Provide management and leadership for the Lake Education Program · Manage and evaluate existing lake education programs · Create and implement new school and public programs · Teach Lake Education Program courses and lead tours · Manage the routine care of all SLNSC vessels · Supervise commercial boat licensing of all Lake Education Program staff · Prepare and manage annual budgets for the Lake Education Program · Hire, train and supervise seasonal Lake Education Program staff To apply: Please
