Repair, maintain & install electrical systems & equipment in diesel vehicles and equipment by diagnosing and locating malfunction of vehicle motors, transformers, wiring, switches, etc. Determine method of repairs. Test, adjust, measure and/or repair ignition, timing, distributor, starters, generators and alternators. Dismantle and rebuild engines. Repair and/or repair piston, rods, gears, valves & bearings. Overhaul and/or replace carburetors, blowers, generators, distributors, starters and pumps. Rebuild crankshafts and cylinder blocks. Use tools of the trade. 2 yrs. exp. 40 hrs/wk.
