Apply principles of accounting to analyze past and present financial operations and estimates future revenues and expenditures to prepare budget for film and video production. Analyze records of present and past operations, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenues, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred to project future revenues and expenses, using computer. Document revenues and expenditures and submits to management. Maintain budgeting systems, which provide control of expenditures. Review daily reports, and periodicals presenting data setting forth current and long term trends in investment risks/advantages. Analyze prices and methods of marketing and provide information regarding promotion, design and pricing of film and video production. Advise management on matters, such as effective use of resources and assumptions underlying budget forecasts. Interprets budgets to management. Develop and install manual or computer-based budgeting system. 40 hrs/wk. Bachelor's degree in Economics or Accounting + 2 yrs. exp. in job offered or 2 yrs. exp. = (1 yr Budget Accounting + 1 yrs. Accounting, Sr. level).
